Quotation mark
Quotation marks are used to indicate the beginning and end of a dialogue when a person is speaking. It also introduces a quotation and makes it possible to report someone's words.
Il était un peu trop "jeune".
Il lui a dit : "Viens voir tout de suite !".
French quotation marks are called « quotes ». in the French style. English quotation marks are "example".
For French quotation marks, there is a space before and after the word. For English quotation marks, only one space is required.
