Imperative mode

The imperative mode makes it possible to express an action in the form of an order, a recommendation or an advice.

Tenses of imperative

In the imperative, the verb is formed without any pronoun and the sentence usually contains an exclamation point. We find in this mode two tenses: the present and the past.
